A Seminar on “Careers in Data Analytics and Information Technology” was organised by M.B. Khalsa College, Indore on 10th February 2023. Expert speaker of the seminar was Mr. Hemant Patidar, Cofounder IOTA Academy. Mr. Hemant Patidar did his B.Tech. from IIT Bombay, subsequently he worked as a Data Scientist with THB and then went on to establish IOTA Academy. Mr. Patidar explained the broad concept of Data Analytics and future job opportunities in the field of Data Science. He told the students that Technology is an essential skill in all fields. Today business decisions are taken on the basis of data analytics. Therefore data analytics are in great demand. To become a data analytics, one needs to know advanced Excel, SQL, Tableau, Python and R programming. Data Analysts can become Data Scientists and depending on interest can develop careers in Machine Learning and Artificial intelligence too. He also focused on the importance of Technology to the Science, Management and Commerce students. He answered the questions asked by the students and encouraged them to develop their skills for lucrative careers in these fields.
